Web Tech Tamer

A “Web Tech Tamer” is a web-business technology support technician. The person chosen for this position will be an all around web-savvy technology professional who provides online technology support for client issues ranging from support, creation and maintenance of websites and blogs to management of auto-responders and shopping carts, squeeze page creation, and more. The ideal candidate will also have the skill and experience to troubleshoot a variety of technical issues being experienced by our clients.
All client support and troubleshooting requests will be logged into a help desk ticket system, so the candidate must be comfortable operating in a ticket system environment in order to monitor, manage and respond to help desk tickets.
Communication with clients will be primarily through email with some telephone time, as well. Communication with the rest of the Web Tech Tamer staff will be via Skype as well as through the ticket system’s back-end email system.
Without exception, the ideal person for this position MUST be committed to client satisfaction and take pride in producing only the highest-quality work.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory
- Substantial experience implementing and managing web technologies for business
- Knowledge of FTP, DNS, web hosting panels, auto-responders, shopping carts, WordPress and other blogging platforms, HTML, CSS
- Skill and experience troubleshooting technical problems
- Successfully pass a technical skills test
- Strict attention to detail
- A history of, and commitment to, quality and excellence in results and work produced
- 100% commitment to client satisfaction
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Graphic creating and editing with Photoshop
- Audio and video editing
- Skill and ability to create and modify Facebook Pages
- Web design and development experience in WordPress and Joomla
